Variety Overview:Originating in central Mexico, then paprika was brought to Spain in the 16th century. Then it’s brought to China. Now China is the biggest planting area for this Paprika Pod. Chinese Paprika has a slightly fruity flavor and very gentle pungency, so we always call it ”sweet paprika” in China.
Appearance: Thin fleshed pod,Bright Red or Dark Red. Elongated tapered shape. Commonly 10-15CM length.
